Mountain Yotas Warranty, Refund & Return Policy

Last Updated: October 29, 2025

At Mountain Yotas, we take pride in providing top-tier products, parts, and installation services for Toyota and Lexus off-road platforms. We stand behind the quality of the products we sell and the work we perform. This policy outlines our warranty coverage, refund and exchange procedures, and restocking fees for online and in-shop purchases.

1. Product Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturer Warranty: Most products sold through Mountain Yotas are covered directly by the manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage details vary by brand. If a defect arises, customers must follow the manufacturer’s warranty claim process. We are happy to assist with warranty submissions when applicable.
  • Shop Labor Warranty: Installation labor performed by Mountain Yotas is covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) against defects in workmanship. This warranty covers rework or adjustment of the original installation only. It does not cover parts failure, misuse, off-road damage, or external modifications.
  • Exclusions: Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, off-road damage, improper installation performed elsewhere, or use outside manufacturer specifications.

2. Refund and Return Policy

  • All returns must be authorized in advance by contacting info@mountainyotas.com.
  • Returned items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition with original packaging, hardware, and documentation included.
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • Custom-fabricated, special-order, or electrical items are non-returnable.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once items are received and inspected.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a verified defective product.

3. Exchange Policy

If you ordered the wrong part or need a different variation (size, fitment, or finish), contact us to arrange an exchange. Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval. Customers are responsible for return shipping on incorrect orders unless Mountain Yotas provided the incorrect part.

4. Restocking Fee

  • All approved returns for non-defective items are subject to a 15–25% restocking fee depending on the manufacturer’s policy.
  • Restocking fees help cover processing, inspection, and repackaging costs, as well as manufacturer return fees.
  • Certain vendors (e.g., ARB, CBI, Dissent Off-Road, Sherpa, 74Weld, etc.) may impose additional restocking fees beyond our control.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, notify us within 7 business days of receipt. Provide clear photos of the damage, packaging, and shipping label. We will assist with a replacement, repair, or manufacturer claim depending on the situation. Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be eligible.

6. Custom and Fabricated Parts

All custom-built, made-to-order, or fabricated components (such as bumpers, sliders, skids, and welded assemblies) are final sale and non-returnable. These items are made specifically for your order and may vary slightly from displayed images due to production differences.

7. Installation & Service Labor

  • Once a vehicle service, installation, or modification has begun, the service fee becomes non-refundable.
  • Deposits for scheduled work are non-refundable once parts are ordered or fabrication begins.
  • Labor charges are not eligible for refund unless related to a verified workmanship issue covered under our 12-month labor warranty.

8. Warranty Claim Assistance

To submit a product or labor warranty claim, please email info@mountainyotas.com with:

  • Full name, order number, and contact information
  • Product name, brand, and description of the issue
  • Photos or videos documenting the defect or failure
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

Our team will help determine whether your claim qualifies under manufacturer or in-house warranty coverage.

9. Freight & Oversized Shipments

Freight shipments must be inspected upon delivery. Do not sign for a damaged shipment without noting the damage on the Bill of Lading and taking photos. Freight damage claims reported after delivery without documentation cannot be processed.

10. Policy Changes

Mountain Yotas reserves the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised date above.
