It's Almost Here: Mountain Yotas 4th Gen Tacoma High-Clearance Front Bumper
We've been getting asked about this one since we posted the one-off build for a client on Instagram... The wait is almost over.
Since that first bumper we built, we've been busy perfecting this unit for full production.
The Mountain Yotas High-Clearance Hybrid Front Bumper for the 4th Gen Tacoma is nearly ready. Here's a first look at what we built.
Find It Online
Built In-House: Wheatridge, Colorado
Every bumper is welded in-house at our shop in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, by the same team that builds our portal axle rigs and custom fabrication work.
Main tubes and prerunner bar run 1.75" x .120" wall tubing. Brace tubes are 1.5" x .120" wall DOM. Winch plate, gusseting, and skid plate backer are all 1/4" steel. No imported parts, no castings, no corners cut.
High Clearance
The 4th Gen's active grille shutters were the first obstacle. We delete them.
The shutter delete removes the factory louvers entirely and a sensor kit comes included, so your check engine light stays off and everything reads normally. The crossmember relocates rearward so the winch tucks tight, and the TSS module moves with everything needed to reinstall. Factory park sensors stay fully functional.
Color-Matched Underlay on Integrated Skid Plate
The integrated dimple-died skid plate is styled specifically for the vinyl underlay, and that underlay is available matched to your OEM paint code, every 4th Gen Tacoma color. It looks factory-correct because we built it to.
Lighting... Dialed!
We don't consider lighting optional on this setup. The bumper is built around a Baja Designs S8 30" light bar, with mounts for Baja Designs Squadron SAE fog lights and S2 pods.

Winch Ready Out of the Box
Accepts any 10,000 lb winch (we recommend Warn or Superwinch). Multiple heavy-duty D-ring tabs up front for straight-line and angled recovery. Everything you need to bolt it on comes in the box.
Shipping & Lead Time
Ships raw so the bare steel arrives undamaged. If you're having it installed at Mountain Yotas, we powder coat in-house as part of your build.
